Позакласні заходи — це заняття, що організовуються викладачами або ким-небудь іншим для учнів з метою безпосереднього виховного впливу на них. Формами проведення таких занять можуть бути ігри, ігри-мандрівки, змагання, екскурсії, зустрічі з людьми різних професій і т.п.

"Jingle Bells" is one of the best-known and commonly sung American Christmas songs in the world. It was written by James Lord Pierpont (1822–1893) and published under the title "One Horse Open Sleigh" in the autumn of 1857. Even though it is now associated with the Christmas and holiday season, it was actually originally written for American Thanksgiving. It has been claimed that it was originally written to be sung by a Sunday school choir; however, historians dispute this, stating that it was much too "racy" to be sung by a children's church choir in the days it was written. |
"If You're Happy and You Know It" is a popular repetitive children's song, credited to Dr. Alfred B. Smith, midway through the 1900s. The song has been noted for its similarities to "Molodejnaya", a song appearing in the 1938 Soviet musical film Volga-Volga. |
"The Hokey Pokey Shake (Sing It)" is a great warm up song at the beginning of a lesson, or makes a good break between language activities. It works well at special events and parties, too. |

Нові завдання шкільної освіти в Україні, що спрямовані на гуманізацію та демократизацію всього навчального процесу в школі, визначають нові пріоритети навчання і виховання, потребують формування ініціативної особистості, здатної до раціональної творчої праці. Ми живемо у третьому тисячолітті, у час комп'ютеризації та інтенсивного розвитку всіх галузей науки та виробництва.
