The teaching aims: to revise the lexis from the previous lessons; to read and understand a caption story; to find specific information in the text; to improve pupils’ pronunciation through songs and activities; to identify food items in a shop; to ask and answer questions with Have you got…, write about your lunch box (WB)
The developing aims: to develop students’ attention and memory, to develop logical thinking and dialogical speech, quick reaction.
The educational aims: to develop children’s outlook, to bring up children as kind and hardworking people
- The Preliminary Part

T: Good afternoon!
Ps: Good afternoon!
T: How are you?
Ps: I’m fine, thank you. And you?
T: I’m fine, too. Thank you. Take your sits.
II. The Essential Part
- Warmer 4 min
Play a game “Forwards and Backwards”.
The children stand in rows so they can count around the class. They start counting, with each child saying the next number.
Before they get to ten, say Change!. The pupils then have to start counting backwards from whatever number they reached.
Say Change! again and the pupils start counting forwards again.

T: Today we’re going to continue our topic FOOD.

T: Do you like pizza / fries / sandwiches?
What is your favourite pizza / sandwich?
(Ps tell about any unusual pizza toppings or sandwich fillings they like.)

T: Look at the pictures on the Smart Board. How do you think what you’re going to read.
Ps: answer
T: Yes. You’re going to read a story about a boy in a pizza shop.
T: What food can you see in a shop?
Ps: pizza, bananas.
