The subject of the lesson: People’s favourite food.
The teaching aims: to revise the lexis from the previous lessons; to learn new words and structures, to practice them, to read the text and answer the questions, to improve pupils’ pronunciation through songs and activities, to identify types of food, to ask and answer the questions about what people have got, to write short answers to questions.
The developing aims: to develop students’ attention and memory, to develop logical thinking and dialogical speech, quick reaction.
The educational aims: to develop children’s outlook, to bring up children as kind and hardworking people

II. The Essential Part

T: Do you want to play? (Yes) So let’s play a game. I want you to play the game “Whisper”. Divide the class into 2 groups, put them in rows. Show a flashcard to a first child in each group. This child whispers the word to the child next to him/her (to the end of the row).
The final child says the word aloud, and the 1-st child holds up the flashcard (with a written word) to see whether the word and the flashcard are the same.
T: Stick all the words on the board.
Words: lunch box, sandwich, apple, banana, biscuit, tomato, pear, grapes, rice, fish, meat, bread, yogurt (the lexis from the previous studying year)
